We had a warning here at the plant. Had to go to the bathroom with 20 other guys. Still haven't had anyone tell me why that bathroom is more safe than our server room which is right next door and more secure.

Fay is outta here!!

Quote:
Weather conditions improved in South Carolina as forecasters canceled tornado and flash flood watches for most of the state.

The remnants of Tropical Storm Fay had prompted tornado watches across western and central South Carolina late Tuesday and early Wednesday. Those were canceled by late morning.

A tornado was reported Tuesday near Clemson University's football stadium. Funnel clouds also were reported in Allendale, Anderson, Florence, Horry and Lancaster counties.

Trees and power lines were knocked down in several locations, but no injuries were reported. link

Glad to hear no one was hurt by the twisters. Today should be it for Fay. Some locations got 6+ inches but we are still 11-12 inches behind for the year.

I spent two weeks in Australia in about 1980. Y'all talk funny, but your beer was real good, and the weather was spectacular.

And that 'splains why you posted on the Shout Box at 3:09 A.M. (Eastern Daylight Time)

Yeah, gets a bit lonely on forums, most of the ones I join are on the other side of the world and no one is awake when I visit. As for talking funny, at least we all talk the same funny, not like over your side, how many different accents do you have in one Country?? Bear1 Bear11 But Thank You for the nice welcome!!

Isn't it nice we all type the same language with a few differences that we all understand.

I live on the Pacific coast in the US and I'd venture to guess I wouldn't understand all these SC folks nor you from OZ Down Under if I were talking to you. Isn't the Internet great!!!!
