Today's South Carolina GOP Primary

The latest poll numbers show a dead heat between Huckabee and McCain.

Mike Huckabee 26%
John McCain 26%
Mitt Romney 13%
Fred Thompson 13%
Ron Paul 5%
Rudy Giuliani 5%

I urge everyone to get out and vote.

If you want new ideas in Washington, like fair tax/fair trade and you reject Graham/McCain amnesty for illegals and the status quo, cast your vote for Mike Huckabee.

Polls open at 7:00am and close at 7:00pm! Go Mike!!!

Well, maybe a 3rd place finish will keep your man in the hunt. Good luck!

I'll already back from the polls!!

If he don't win here, he needs to get out. It's time to start thinning the crowd.
At lunch yesterday we had a good conversation. Started talking about how the field is lacking any standouts. We figured let's go ahead and get behind hillary (sorry for the mental picture) and get her elected. After she screws up everything with her liberal policies all of us conservatives can sit back and say "SEE, We gave you the chance, we elected a woman and tried it your way. Now are you going to listen to us men now?" It could set them back 100 years!

Flame away...

As I said, If the GOP can't offer a candidate I can support, I'll go 3rd party for kicks or sit it out and see what happens.

I gotta ask, I'll pass no judgment or challenge you about who you say, I'm just curious. Fingers crossed for who?

Ridiculous article about weather affecting voter turnout:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/wyff/20080119/lo_wyff/15081845;_ylt=AmBpMzaah8sm_EFpsmXHQaQkJPEI

I wonder how Washington and his men would feel about their walking through miles of snow and ice and crossing a frozen river to die for the freedoms of those who cast off the right/responsibility to vote for a little creature comfort.

The idea is preposterous. Surely a little weather will not affect those who value the Constitution.

The temps are gonna have to drop quite a bit to get much snow. Maybe that will happen late this afternoon, but it won't affect voters, I don't think.

The Yankee weather people who come down here and try to predict the weather don't understand how the mountains can trap heat. It's still nearly 40 degrees in Greer. Wink

They are already calling Nevada for Mitt, What the HELL? Is there something I'm missing about how a caucus works and primary works?
