Sorry to hear you didn't take Danner out Charles. What's sad is that only around 800 people turned out to vote. Sad

In a town of ~20,000, only 4% of the citizens bother voting to decide who runs things. That kind of apathy is really disturbing.

I agree, GW, but that seems to be the US in the early 2000's. Our apathy will catch up with us, if it hasn't already.

Was a good idea, anyway.

Soooooooooo right GW! Here are the stats from the race:
Danner_______779 votes 74%
Lindsey_______273 votes 26%

Our troops are fighting and dying for people's voting rights and the people must not care what is going on in the City of Greer. I call it very lazy for voters not getting out to vote.

I want to thank all the good people of Greer who voted for me, they cared. Smile

I am the winner in the long run, because there will be lots of problems down the road paying bills.

Growth in Greer for the next 15-20 years is not good for the future of taxpayers. Sad

Thanks for trying Charlie! It is grass roots people like you who will make a difference in the end.

Sorry you were not more successful.

Charles I'm sorry you didn't win. Hopefully you raised some issues that will make people listen but obviously with that low voter count it appears the majority don't care and have given them free reign for more corruption. But then on the other hand your mouth and spirit to improve Greer is still a working function.
