When I scroll down with them on the screen, they leave artifacts. Is that the proper term?
I get them in Opera9.01 Build 8552. But not in Firefox nor MSIE6.0
Yep, they're close enough to be called artifacts, but it's really the Flash Player hanging-up (stopping) while computer resources being used to scroll.
By double clicking to give focus on page it clears.
Nice Tip. I"ll report to the makesrs of all.

I'm using an older version of Opera, 8.53, build 7722,

YES Since Opera is now FREE, for security sakes and better content, keep it current.
I allow Opera to "auto-check" for a newer version every time I open it.
On DSL/Cable it's a minor thing.

That's a cool graphic Aeioun. I wonder if there are any good flash tools that run under Linux? I'm gonna have to research that. I wouldn't mind learning some flash stuff. _________________

The "big-boss-daddy" Adobe-Macromedia still shows OS of only WIN & MAC Flash System Requirements
Too expensive for me.
Only one that I've heard about for creating to any extent "F4L" a SourceForge Project
Flash For Linux FREE
totally unfamilar with, but when I get a Linux machine it's a first to test item.

I noticed that as well but it appears, due to increasing demand, that Macromedia is working toward a Linux release.

Macromedia's Kevin Lynch told the crowd at FlashWorld that his company is developing a Linux version of the Flash MX development environment. Good news for those that spurn using a Mac or PC for Web development projects. link

Saw this during some web-surfing last night. Looks to be a good start for a 3rd party, open source, development tool. No official RPMs as of yet for most of the distros, including FC5. Maybe I"ll grab it and compile so I can check out how far they've came. _________________

Thanks for the advice, I'll try it out!
Goodness, gracious, great balls of fire, (wonder who was running around with THOSE?), that took less than a minute! Would have been faster if I had remembered to exit opera and I didn't have to answer firewall queries.
