O's retirement party

Wouldn't ya know it, they had an OSU Beavers Cake for me.

I was dressed for the part in black and orange.

It was such fun!

You Go Girl,

We just moved into a over 55 community and we love it. No little people running around the streets. He tind to drive to fast (my hubby) He has lots of tickets I never had a moving ticket (lots of parking ones) The club and gym is over 55 so we do not have to look at young brats. Only brats is see are my grand daughters

Hey congratulations on retirement (someone please tell me what that is, sounds like one of those words, like vacation, that I'll never see)

Go Beavers! Moon Puppy

Thank you everyone for your good wishes. Some pretty graphics work up there too.

I will remain on call and the call has come and I'm working tomorrow. So much for retirement.

I have an application to work as a volunteer at the Coquille Library. I can think of nothing more pleasurable than to be surrounded by books.

When I asked about volunteering there, they couldn't get me an application fast enough so it sounds like I'll probably have a delightful couple days a week there ... or more. Two days sounds ideal to me. Still have to fill out the application and take it in.

Yeah, so much for retirement.

The library work sounds good and could be rewarding. I think people should do things they really enjoy during retirement.

That's a cool cake, btw!! Looks tasty!! Tastey

Way to go O. Congrats on your retirement. And Welcome to your new volunteer job.

Some thoughts about retirement:

1) You don't have Friday to look forward to anymore.
2) You can't wait for Monday, so everyone else goes back to work and gets out of your way.
3) Don't go to Wal-Mart on the weekend!
4) How did you ever get all these things done and work a full time job too?

By the way, who is holdin' your ankle? They are getting mighty friendly there. Roll on the floor

A good friend always finished his e-mail with this signature:
