Yes, take chrominium.scm out of the shared folder.

Make sure it's the CHROMINIUM script... check the spelling.

Then make sure it's in gimp2.4/scripts

I'm just curious, and this might not be the proper place to try to satisfy my curiosity, but it seems to me that sometimes some of our talented members apply the effects of one of these scripts to objects other than fonts.

I can't think of an example right now, but do any of you know what I mean?

I was wondering if you all were using the scripts somehow to do that or if you were just doing it manually? It would be really cool, if you could do it with the scripts, but they are set up to apply it to text, it looks like, to me.

There are a lot of things you can do to existing images in gimp. The scripts use fonts only, though.

This picture

I did this to in gimp.

There are many ways you can dress up a picture. I'm getting ready to fly out of here this morning so I don't have time to really get into it.

GW has some cool tricks up his sleeve and Sirwen does too.

Yeah, you can do nice borders, and all sorts of stuff to a pic. I'm still learning this app. but I'm learning borders, and animated borders right now. This is like most all pics,it was just a square pic. Look at the edges of it now tho.......

Or this...

The scripts I've written works on fonts. Fonts don't have to be text, they can be pictures too.

This is from a font that contains pictures (dings) instead of letters.

Here are some examples of those..
