After the cold boot, I tried it again, changed to the same font. Saved the first try. Tried it a couple more times all was ok. Then I changed font size to 100 and the error occurred again. I remember that the first time it happened was when I changed font size. I ran it and it was fine, changed font size, kablooey!!!
So it's somehow tied up with the size of the font.
This is the one I saved. I'll have to cold boot again before I can run it again without it crashing. Will try resetting the script first.
Maybe it's the font it doesn't like. I tried it after I reset it and just used the default font. Also, tried resizing the default font. Worked. Tried a different font. Worked. Tried it with the font that it crashed with before. Crashed.
I did what you said, and it's no different,no matter what I try. There are 3 type chrome scripts in there too. chromium.scm, chrome-it.scm,chrome-logo.scm.

Do I need all of them,or just the chromium.scm?
!!
I don't know what those other ones are. The only one I have in my gimp/scripts folder is chrominium.scm. I wouldn't be deleting files other than just the chrominium one since I don't know what they are for.
The date on the chrominium.scm file in mine is December 13, 2007. Check the date on yours in there. _________________

Yeah,it says the same. I know I did it right. I had another thought tho. Those other scripts, when I put them in there,it took about a half a day before the firewall asked me for permission about them. I'll let you know if it dont work by tomorrow. I'm still trying, but it's still doing the same thing it was. _________________
Yes maam, Ive re-started,and even shut it down. Ive tried everything, and believe it or not,as I'm typing, this firewall is asking questions. Maybe it will work now, even if I have to re-start. We will see.
This is a different firewall. Anything I do that's new,it will ask then,or eventually when it catches it.
The firewall should not be a problem. You must still have the old chrominuim.scm installed. Delete it and replace it with the new one from gimpscripts.com, then refresh the scripts or restart Gimp.
Hope that helps!! _________________

The firewall I had before Comodo, Tiny Personal Firewall, it asked me every time I started up an app the first time or if there were any changes since the time before if it was ok. It drove me nutz. That's why I switched to Comodo. _________________

Well, as long as the app didn't access the internet (like Gimp), I can't see why the firewall would even be involved. I've always used an older version of zonealarm when I ran Windows and it only prompted me when an app was trying to access the network/internet. I could then blacklist or whitelist the app so I'd never be bothered again, unless the app changed. I'm not aware of Gimp accessing the internet so it shouldn't even be on the firewall's radar, so to speak. _________________
