Crockpot Baked Potatoes

No oven to heat up and they stay hot until you need them.

Taken from Rival Crockpot Owner's Manual

Prick potatoes and wrap in foil. Place potatoes in stoneware. Do not add water.
Cover and cook on Low 8 to 10 hours. Chef

Not such a good idea :(

I bought a small crock-pot (1.5 qt.) and the recipe for these baked potatoes was in the user guide. It ruined the potatoes; they were tan and mushy inside and tasted awful. I didn't eat them.. Crying or Very sad
I also fixed the recipe in the user guide for taco filling and when I got home from work, the filling was dry, hard, scorched and inedible. The recipe said to cook from 10 to 12 hours and I got home in about 9.5 hours and it was ruined then.
I think a small crock-pot is not a good idea and I'm returning it to the store.
I love my big crock-pot and haven't had any problems with it like this little one. I got the little one thinking it would be nice for 1 person.
I would advise not trying the crock-pot baked potatles unless you're at home and can check them periodically.
