Not such a good idea :(
I bought a small crock-pot (1.5 qt.) and the recipe for these baked potatoes was in the user guide. It ruined the potatoes; they were tan and mushy inside and tasted awful. I didn't eat them..
I also fixed the recipe in the user guide for taco filling and when I got home from work, the filling was dry, hard, scorched and inedible. The recipe said to cook from 10 to 12 hours and I got home in about 9.5 hours and it was ruined then.
I think a small crock-pot is not a good idea and I'm returning it to the store.
I love my big crock-pot and haven't had any problems with it like this little one. I got the little one thinking it would be nice for 1 person.
I would advise not trying the crock-pot baked potatles unless you're at home and can check them periodically. _________________
