Complete with Errors

Hey GW,

I have been getting this little symbol in the IE 6 status bar.

When I click on the warning symbol it displays this error message.

If no one else is getting this error, I'll try to debug my system...

Thanks,

RB

I get the same thing, RB. Same error message, etc., in IE 6.

I get it with IE7 also, but Firefox 2.0 has no problem.

Guess I should have added that FF doesn't have that error. (1.5.0.7)

Thanks for bringing it to my attention y'all. I'll take a look. Since I never use IE, I haven't saw it. Wink

Haven't seen it in Opera, either.

Ok, it should be fixed now. Tested it with IE6 and turns out the ghosts were not floating. The were just stuck over on the left and not moving, which appeared to be generating the error message. This was due to subtle differences in the way java/script is handled in IE -vs- FF.

I don't have IE7 to test with so y'all can let me know if the problem still exists with in IE7, but I wouldn't think so.

Should work now in IE, FF, Mozilla, Netscape and Opera. Whew!!

That is funny, I don't look at this page with IE, so I never saw that problem. In Opera the ghost was stuck up in the corner, but it didn't give any error messages, so I just figured that was where the ghost was supposed to be.

I saw the little rascal flying around in FF, and now, it is flying around in Opera as well.

Heck of a lot of work for a freakin ghost! Good job!

Thanks for the feedback y'all. I hate it when things don't work like I planed. Guess I should test stuff in another browser besides FF, huh?

No need to do that, GW. Someone in here will let you know if'n it isn't working.

Yeah, I'm sure of that.

It took a week or so for that one to show up and if there wasn't an error message displayed in IE, I might have never known the ghosts weren't floating. People may have just assumed it was suppose to be stationary.
