This happens when you update to a new kernel before Livna has had a chance to update the nVidia drivers. It takes a couple of days between a new kernel release and Livna packaging the nvidia drivers for it.
It's no big deal. Whenever I see the a new kernel come down, I check to see if kmod-nvida is on the update list as well. If not, I just wait a day or two until it's there as well.
Just wait a day or two and I'm sure it will show up. _________________

Just remember this is a normal occurrence. Fedora doesn't release 3rd party proprietary drivers so the kernel always shows up before the nVidia drivers. You just happened to update between the time the kernel was released and the nVidia drivers were packaged by Livna.
As I mentioned, before updating, just take a look at the updates and if you see a new kernel, ensure you see the related kmod-nvidia driver on the list as well. If not, just wait a day or two and update when kmod-nVidia becomes available. This should be SOP when using nVidia drivers or any other kmod (kernel specific drivers) for that matter. nVidia is the only kmod driver either of us use at the present. _________________

Yanno, I coulda sworn there was an nvidia update in there. Maybe it was an HP one tho. I look at the list just to see if anything cool like gimp is updated. I'll check more carefully next time.
I will try in a couple days. Just updated this morning.

Yeah, I just checked. The kernel update is there but not the kmod-nvidia driver so I'll wait a day or two and when the nvidia driver shows, I'll update. _________________

Nah. When the driver shows up, it will just update normally and all will be well.
Until then, you're stuck with no 3D acceleration. It's not a big deal unless you use 3D desktops (compiz) or play 3D open GL games. _________________
