Audiences reject Iraq war — at the box office
Audiences reject Iraq war — at the box office
| Quote: | | It doesn't matter how many Oscar winners are in front of or behind the camera — audiences are proving to be conscientious objectors when it comes to this fall's surge of antiwar and anti-Bush films. |
I have a theory why, we, the audience is sick if hearing the diatribe from these pampered pets of hollywierd.
I suspect if someone made a film that depicted the truth being told, and how the media distorts those truths and how the U.S. military has kicked ass and taken names in spite of all the crap they get from Washington, it would be a blockbuster.

"You really can't try to take on subject matter like this and appeal to all views at the same time," he says. "They act like they're saying something when they're actually not saying anything." |
I find this comment troubling. Are they not capable of telling a story from boths sides? If not, they should look at the movie "Tora, Tora, Tora" one of the most historically accurate and balanced telling of any event in time told in film.
Sounds like to me they think they should be more anti-war to get their message out. _________________ You can't hold a liberal responsible for their words because it's character assassination.

Then the media wouldn't advertise the movie... and make up stories about how sucky they are.
