No, because I had installed 1.0.7 and it crashed and wouldn't recover so I uninstalled it, reinstalled 1.0.6. I had to uninstall FF as it wouldn't run after recovery. Now I'm running 1.0.7 again and TB 1.0.7.

Yep. Neither FF nor TB would run, though. Had to uninstall and reinstall. I haven't crashed so far, but stream audio works ALL the time which I really don't like, but twice after installing the ActiveX files, FF wouldn't run. Not going to go there again. Sad

Well I've done everything at least twice that made me crash before and no crash. I haven't uploaded a file from in here, though, so will do that now.

So far so good - uploaded and previewed, will submit.

Worked. Now to load one from userfiles:

Looks like it's a go!! Whoo Hoo

Now if I can figure out a way to keep those audios from automatically playing another way ... I do have an instant system restore point software thingy, I could try doing it again but not tonite. It's 2am and I'm drooped.

There's something very wrong. New posts don't have red check marks by them any more. I deleted the link to TrendMicro Antispyware in that thread. I wouldn't want anyone else to have to deal with this. This computer will probably never be the same unless I format and start from scratch.
Gaah!!

Well, this really sucks. I tried to reinstall Crescendo and I got an error message:

Setup Initialization Error
"Setup is unable to find _SETUP.DLL, which is needed to complete the installation.
Error 103"

I did a search in the MSKB for Error 103 and got this.

MSKB Article 314203 How to Install the Windows Support Tools from a Command Prompt

Could someone take a look and see if this is what I need to do? I'm not really confident of just doing it without womeone else more knowledgeable taking a look. Thanks.

Without looking at the MSKB article, I'm gonna guess that _SETUP.DLL is a compressed file that should have been provided by the Crescendo installation package...

And the Error 103 is an error message not from Microsoft, but from the Crescendo installation. Does the Crescendo installation web site have any FAQ or Help???
